The release reads:
"On two of the most important issues facing voters: solving the jobs crisis and passing universal healthcare, Pagliuca outshined his opponents. Specifically, Pagliuca outlined comprehensive, detailed plans to create jobs and put people back to work and stood up as the only reliable 60th vote to pass healthcare reform.
Pagliuca pledged to support either the House or Senate bill to provide health insurance to over 30 million Americans who lack coverage, over 45,000 of which die every year due specifically to this lack of coverage. However, both Martha Coakley and Mike Capuano again either declined to be a reliable vote or said outright that they would vote against healthcare reform.
Pagliuca reiterated that he believes that “voters should demand nothing less from our next Senator than a pledge that you will be there when that 60th vote is needed on health care reform.” Pagliuca said that he regrets that two of the candidates in this race - Attorney General Martha Coakley and Congressman Michael Capuano – have failed to meet this test and make their commitment clear. They will not be a reliable 60th vote in favor of healthcare reform.
Of all the candidates on stage, only Pagliuca had a comprehensive plan to get our economy moving forward again backed by on the ground experience. Pagliuca touted his 25 years creating jobs and building businesses to highlight his bold jobs creation plan. This plan calls for investment in key strategic industries such as life sciences, high-technology and bio-technology to bring jobs back to Massachusetts, public-private partnerships to build lasting jobs of the future and loans to small businesses to jump start that vital engine of growth. He also called for $7,500 tax credits for new jobs and funds for job training.

I agree Pags was victorious...in saying the same ole sheeeat he's been saying over and over again. Redundantly.
lol - He is funny!
Pagliuca was a MESS tonight. He was awkward and unconvincing, seemed like an out-of-touch elitist, and let Capuano walk all over him. I almost like him more out of pity. That that campaign is claiming victory is a joke.
Capuano was overly aggressive; I've liked him in the past, but I think he crossed the line tonight.
This debate was between Martha Coakley and Alan Khazei. She was solid, as usual, if a bit boring. Khazei is clearly still on his way up, but he seems to be getting better and better every day.
Khazei is definitely making this election look more interesting than it did a week ago!
Khazei is a nice guy - Lots of reporters and press really like him because he's been the "good story" for so many years. No controversy about City Year-no hard decisions. No problem not taking PAC money because he has seriously heavy duty money people in his pocket from years of fund raising (Bloomberg even threw him a party at his home).
Martha Coakley was Senatorial as usual. Her answers were spot on and direct. Think she remains the front runner. Capuano is one angry, condescending dude!
Khazei has some good astro turfing going on, if only they had the voters to back it up. Coakley was at the debate tonight? Must have missed her. Nice work Mike, you got my vote.
I liked how it was evident in Coakley's face that Pags was annoying to her. First bit of emotion I've seen from her. Otherwise, she's like a robot. Actually, like a ventriloquist dummy. And the ventriloquist isn't very chatty.
Also, Khazei's canned speech at the end was douchey.
What's astroturfing? Are you talking about Khazei's hair?
Can someone explain what "senatorial" means?
People say it a lot about Coakley, so I am assuming it means boring and dispassionate.
I want passion from my Senators, which is why I loved Kennedy and don't care too much for Kerry.
Capuano was the worst!!! Both Coakley and Pags did a good job. Was Khazei even in the debate?
I agree, Coakley and Pagliuca looked good. Capuano was arrogant as usual, and Alan was not great tonight. Got schooled by Caps and Pags on what Stimulus 1 actualy was.
The last two comments must be trolls. Pagliuca looked good??!?!?!?!
Pagliuca was the clear winner in this debate! It is awesome that his campaign declared this his win. If he can come on this strong tomorrow night- he will win this election hands down.
Clearly a strong night from Pags - showed up strong on healthcare and defended himself well. Khazei was a non-factor; Cappy looked angry as usual and Coakley is looking smaller every day.
If 'pags' can take credit for some of those 'the king' bk commercials then sure he won. No healthcare for his employees but he is a reliable vote. 'pags' won't get 10 points.
Coakley short? Is that a sexist joke? Maybe she didn't want to wear heels? Hurts you know.
Cap or khazei please.
Pags claims victory???? Reminds me of Baghdad Bob describing the Iraqi rout of the US! Pags was beaten like a mule and each candidate took turns smacking him around.
