Senate candidates disclose assets to Boston Globe.

The Boston Globe's Matt Viser reports that Steve Pagliuca has assets worth between $259 million and $765 million, and Martha Coakley has no assets worth more than $1,000.  The information comes from reports that the campaigns are required to file with the Secretary of the Senate, and Viser notes that "the Globe requested the forms directly from the candidates."

Funny, I made the same request to all the campaigns earlier this week, and Pagliuca and Coakley completely ignored me. (Thanks to the Khazei and Brown camps for responding to my request.  Capuano's was available online.)

Sour grapes aside, Viser notes that Pagliuca's report "runs 94 pages, listing scores of investments from all over the world," and that Alan Khazei's salary listings include a $17,000 advance for a book that is slated to arrive next year.

My review of Khazei's filing showed assets between $400K and $1.15 million, and zero liabilities.  Scott Brown has assets in the $1.1 million-$2.2 million range, including three rental condos in Boston.
