MA Libertarians endorse Joe Kennedy for Senate.

The Libertarian Association of Massachusetts has endorsed party member Joe Kennedy in the race for U.S. Senate. Kennedy is running as an independent in the January 19 election, despite his standing in the state's Libertarian party.

I wrote about Joe way back in September, and he has continued to plug along in his campaign. Below is the biographical video he has released on YouTube, where he has also posted videos of himself discussing the economy and the trade deficit.

A friend of kennedyseat.com has learned from Joe that his campaign has amassed more than 16,000 signatures, surpassing his goal of 14,000.  Independent candidates for the Senate have until next Tuesday, November 24, to submit their signatures for certification.

Joe Kennedy winning as an independent is the best thing that could happen to US politics nationwide. He is against the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, and against the drug war. He favors an audit of the federal reserve. He is owned by no special interest.

What's not to like?

If you're in love with the two-party system, then by all means, vote Demopublican, for Martha Coakley or Brown, and business as usual. (Spineless and ineffective Republicans who don't oppose overspending as usual, and Democrats who revel in it). If you're an American patriot who understands that the result of the Boston Massacre resulted in the world's first free nation, with freedom of speech, and freedom of religion, and freedom of all to access the ballot, then vote for Joe Kennedy.
