A couple of Pagliuca links.

I know what you're thinking. "KS, what the F is wrong with you this weekend? You have posted more in the past two days than you have in the past 5 weekends combined." And you're right.  It seems ridiculous to post so much on a beautiful Sunday in November when it felt like May.

Still, I can barely keep up with the candidates right now as we enter the home stretch, so I am going to have to just keep putting up the info as I get it.  My readers drop off a bit on the weekends, so most of you probably won't get to half (or all) of today's posts until tomorrow anyway, but for the loyal readers who would rather spend 2 minutes on kennedyseat.com than 60 Minutes on CBS, I have one final post for you tonight.

Since I started this blog in September, I have done my best to be fair in my critiques of the campaigns, and have tried to write about all the candidates equally.  Still, I can't help but feel I have been a little tough on Steve Pagliuca, so I am showing him some extra love tonight.

First off, a reader responded in the comments to yesterday's links that I am wrong in criticizing Pags for not campaigning at Celtics games, as he has been outside the Garden shaking hands pre-game on at least two occasions.  Since I always sneak in at the last moment, I hadn't noticed and I'm glad to hear it.

Secondly, the MetroWest Daily News continues to defy my Google alerts, so even though I knew they were doing a series of profiles on the candidates, I somehow missed Friday's story on Pags.

Finally, New Bedford Standard Times columnist Jack Spillane sat down with Pagliuca over the past few days, and came away impressed.  Spillane had written just last week that all he knew about Pags he knew from the ad campaign, and wondered what kind of person he really was.  Seems like the face-to-face went well.

And with that, I promise I am done for the weekend.  See you in like 12 hours.

Thank you for keeping up with the issues in such a professional and non-biased manner-that's not an easy thing to do. I really can't figure out who you are supporting- good job!
Thanks for taking the time to update the rest of us junkies!

Steve Pagliuca will be greeting voters during the arrival of visitors to tomorrow nights Celtics game at The Garden. The Steve Pagliuca for Senate volunteers and staff will arrive on Causeway St. above the North Stations T stop at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there!
