Scott Brown has message for President Obama.

Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown recorded a video message today for President Barack Obama, who will be in town tomorrow for a speech at MIT and a Deval Patrick fundraiser.

In the video, Brown says:
"Mr. President, Massachusetts is in trouble right now. Unemployment is at 9.3 percent, the highest level in more than three decades. Businesses are cutting jobs and have no money to invest. Taxes have gone up, making it harder for people to make ends meet. People are hurting. At the political fundraiser you’ve come here to attend, you will not see any signs of this misery. Your supporters will flatter you with praise and tell you what a great job you’re doing. But the truth is: times are hard. We create growth by lowering taxes so people keep more of what they earn and by cutting out the wasteful government spending that is burdening us with historic levels of debt. We need you to focus on getting our economy moving again. It’s time to go to work and time to put America back to work.”
Brown will be taking questions on President Obama's visit from reporters on a conference call shortly.

In the meantime, he may have a Republican opponent on the December 8 ballot after all. The Boston Herald's Hillary Chabot reports that Jack E. Robinson turned in 10,800 ballots to Duxbury town hall before Tuesday's deadline.  If at least 10,000 of those signatures are certified, Robinson will be on the ballot.
