Scott Brown continues to draw distinctions between himself and Democratic candidates.

The ongoing theme in the wake of Monday night's Senate debate is that there is virtually no differences between the Democratic candidates when it comes to policy.

Meanwhile, Republican candidate Scott Brown is doing everything in his power to let people know that there are major differences between him and his prospective Democratic opponents.

In a statement issued this morning, Brown outlined his opposition to another stimulus plan, and challenged the idea that stimulus one, officially know as the American Recovery and Reconstruction Act (ARRA), has worked.

Brown said:
“It’s sad to see Deval Patrick try to spin gold out of hay. The fact is the stimulus has not worked. Not one new job has been created in Massachusetts, or anywhere in the nation. The state has lost 32,000 jobs since the stimulus passed in February, and nationwide the job loss is over 2.6 million. All of my opponents in the race for U.S. Senate have said they are open to a second stimulus bill. That is the wrong approach. Let’s fix the one we have now. Our country can’t afford any more stimulus spending that adds to our deficit without adding to employment.”
All of Brown's positions and statements just make me long for a debate where the candidates will actually differ on issues.  I hope I don't have to wait until after December 8, but I look forward to the post-primary contest either way.
