A big miss by me and other unsurprising news in the morning roundup.

As I was watching "On the Record" yesterday, I was scribbling notes in my terrible penmanship that has gotten immeasurably worse since I injured my hand.

There was one big question mark I noted from Coakley's interview: her claim that her sister who lived in the Middle East added to her foreign policy credentials.  It is inexcusable that I forgot to mention this in my review of the show.

Luckily, the Boston Herald's Hillary Chabot was all over it, and more than makes up for my flub. (And I am not just sucking up to Hillary for giving the Seat a shout out in the Monday Morning Briefing, I swear!)

--In other debate day news, the Globe's Matt Viser writes that Coakley's opponents will have a chance to attack her during tonight's debate.  Viser offers this interesting tidbit from Capuano:
“I’m sensing exactly what I wanted to sense, which is the coronation was stopped,’’ he said in an interview. “It’s pretty much a two-way race now. People are slowly, slowly starting to make their judgments.’’
I think Pags and Khazei might take issue with that.

--The Globe editorial board chimed in to say there should be more debates

--David Guarino, former Herald reporter and press secretary to Speaker Sal DiMasi, was at this morning's Chamber forum and live tweeted the event.  You can read his take here

As soon as other press reports from this morning's event surface I will compile a list in a new post.
